Skulls, Skeletons and Bones

All Natural, Real Bone Skulls, Loose Bones and Skeletons. Beetle cleaned for museum quality skulls, Nature-Cleaned bones for crafts and Habitats. Uncleaned Skulls and Full Skeletons for articulations are also found here.  Also European Mounts of Deer, Elk, Moose and More.

 All skulls listed below have been cleaned using Dermestid Beetles, fully degreased and Whitened with bone safe products, to preserve the utmost quality in our skulls and skeletons. All Are Museum Quality unless noted otherwise. Some may have age related tooth wear or bone degeneration.  Some may be Cleaned by other methods but these will be noted in the item description.

Many of these items are One-of-a-Kind and are sold on a first come first served basis. What you see is what you get. All items are subject to prior sale- we try to update daily but this is not always possible. Please refer to PLTL#**** when ordering these items. Please refer to the description that follows each item for more information about that item. If there is not a detailed description you will receive a specimen very similar to the one shown.

Raw and Uncleaned Specimens-

The specimens avaliable at the link above are ready for Beetles, maceration or other cleaning method.

Please note- there are some graphic pictures here, so if you are squeamish please proceed with caution.

PLEASE NOTE:  All of our skulls have their original teeth. These sometimes crack or split during the process. This is a natural phenomenon and to the best of my knowledge is unpreventable. We do not note cracked teeth in descriptions.

 

Grade Descriptions of Skulls

Museum Quality- Intact, Complete to the animal specimens.  May have natural damage like a healed injury or a missing tooth with a solid socket. May also have natural tooth wear.

Craft Quality- May have slight damage, missing a tooth or two, or grease/off color spots. But are very nice skulls. LIMITED QUANTITIES.

LOW Craft Quality- Missing some or all of its teeth, major Damage- NATURE CLEANED, Not Degreased or whitened.  LIMITED QUANTITIES.

Coyote Skull- #KX18- Extremely Aged - Very worn teeth and bone degeneration, Small mature Adult 7 1/4" overall

Alaskan Wolf  Skull- #KX19- Mature Adult- Has significantly cracked canines- Otherwise Perfect- 10.5" long and 5.25" Wide Large Mature Adult-

 Bobcat Juvenile Skull- #KX15- Younger, smaller specimen with mostly emerged adult teeth.  3.25" Long

Lynx Kitten Skull- #KX14- Very Young Specimen(Less than 1 year old) has both emerged adult teeth and yet to be shed baby teeth. Very cool skull. 4.25" Long-

Lynx Kitten Skull- #KX13- Very Young Specimen(less than 1 year) has both emerged adult teeth and yet to be shed baby teeth. Slightly more mature than #KX14 but a smaller skull at 4" long.
