Leathers and Buckskin
Deer, elk, cow and other quality buckskins and leathers and hair off products like rawhide, oak leathers and more. Deer and Elk Buckskins- Colors Available- COLORS Standard 2-3 oz Deer Buckskin and 4-5 oz Elk buckskin. Sold By the Hide and by the square foot so you can order exactly what you need. Deer is great for shirts and garments, while the heavier elk is great for bags, chaps, and scabbards. Very soft supple leather. Also great for covering antler mounts #1 Hides have no holes in the body of the hide or just a pair of bullet holes. #2 Hides have several small holes or grain blemishes in the body of the hide. Craft Grade may have one or more holes in the body of the hide or a large grain blemish/drag. Good for Smaller projects. Full deer hides average 8-14 sq ft and full elk hides average 18 to 25 sq ft each. Buckskin orders less than 1/2 hide- Individual pieces cut to your specified measurements (5" by 9", 12" by 13" etc) Deer-(all #1 with no holes) $10 per sq ft. Elk - All #1 with no holes- $11 per sq ft. Buckskin by the full or half hide: #1 Deer Buckskin- $7.25 per sq ft. #1 Elk Buckskin- $7.75 per sq ft #2 Deer Buckskin- $6.50 per sq ft. #2 Elk Buckskin- $7.00 per sq ft. Craft Deer Buckskin- $5.75 per sq ft. Craft Elk Buckskin- $6.25 per sq ft. Sheep Leather- Older and Thicker than Lamb- Similar to deer in weight with more Texture $7.25 per sq ft. Goat Leather- Like heavy Buckskin. Lots of grain texture $7.25 per sq ft. Lamb Leather- VERY Thin- usually 1-1.1 mm/ 2-2.5 ounces- Available in 31 different Colors
Natural Brain Tanned Buckskins
Genuine hand tanned, smoked, brain tanned buckskin. Exact shades of smoking vary. If you need hides to match let us know. Very soft leathers, great for beading and moccasins. By the hide or by the sq ft. LIMITED QUANTITIES. Brain Tanned Deer Buckskin- $35 per sq ft Elk, Moose and Buffalo Brain-tan leather also available.
Leather and Buckskin Lacing
Elk Lacing- Hand cut from full grain leathers, Strip Cut for straighter piece. Great Tensile strength. Perfect for a wide variety of projects. Great for braiding, lacing, Belts and more. Available up to 60" long. Please Specify length when ordering. Deer Lacing- Spiral Cut from full grain leathers. Good tensile strenght perfect for Lacing leather projects, Long braiding projects, etc. Sprial cut gives it a slightly more irregular look than straight cut lace great for traditional garb. Dye colors are very similar to Elk colors. Available in continous lengths up to 100 feet. Order extra for projects as each hide is unique and we cannot guarentee an exact match to a previous purchase/dye lot. Please Specify length when ordering.
