Grade Descriptions for Furs and Leathers

These furs, hides and pelts are selected for their quality. Each is unique. Please see our Grade Descriptions for Hides and Furs for a more detailed description of the terms used in the description of these lots. These items are all One-of-a-Kind and are sold on a first come first served basis. What you see is what you get. All items are subject to prior sale- we try to update daily but this is not always possible. Please refer to PLTL#**** when ordering these items. Please refer to the description that follows each item for more information about that item.
Axis Deer Hides
These are all nice, soft tanned Axis Deer hides, an exotic species raised in Texas. You will get the fur that is pictured. Great for Rugs or Throws, and Crafts.
Axis Deer Hides- Soft, Almost garment quality leather, great for rug or throw, very soft summer hair. Each has a hole or two including an entrance/exit. One hide does not have a tail. Use these flashy hides to recover a chair or two bar stools for an exotic look in your home. These are two hides from younger deer and measure about 10 sq ft each- $149.99 Each
Goat Hides
These are all nice, soft tanned goat hides. You will get the fur that is pictured. Great for Rugs or Throws, and Crafts.
Listed Left to right
Craft Grade Cashmere Goat hide-This goat has very soft long guard hair but little fiber. Has some yellowing and a pink spot on rump from marking paint. 26 by 30 inches. $29.99
#1 Summer Boer Goat Hide-No Holes, 33 by 32 inches. This goat does have some slight yellowing. Would make a good rug. $39.99 each
White Cashmere Goat Hide-Very nice hide with heavy guard hair. 39" by 29" Large Enough to make a pair of child's woolies or an adult sized pair of chinks (short chaps) It may have a minor hole that will need to be repaired to do this. Thick Durable Leather $90.99
Boer Goat Winter Hide- This goat is a striking Light red and white, with thick winter hair. Would make a Great rug. It is a Large Mature animal measuring over 44" long and 35" wide. $60.00
Otter and Bobcats
These are all nice prime furs. You will get the fur that is pictured. These are Garment Quality Tanned Furs.
Cased- No belly cut
Flat- Cut along belly to lower jaw, sometimes lower jaw is also cut.
#2 Cased River Otter without Feet-This otter has some minor holes, 1 4" or so Cut and some very slight slips. It is a very nice wallhanger. $75.00 each
#1 Flat Silver Bobcat without Feet-Very nice colored and furred cat. Minor holes. $90.00 each
#1 Cased Orange Bobcat with feet- Very nice cat, our Local Orange coloration. Has one large repaired exit wound, sewn and hardly noticable from fur side $175.00 each
Foxes
These are all nice prime foxes. You will get a Fox like what is pictured, They vary slightly in size and colors. Each may have a small amount of damage. These are Garment Quality Tanned Furs.
